Here is an example to help you explain how this service works.
Example
A caller dials in to one of your 0844 numbers, and they are instructed to dial 1# to speak with a customer support representative. When the caller dials 1 there will be a default recording, which says, "to let your desired person know who is calling, please say your name after the tone and press any key when finished." The caller will then be played some music till he/she is made hold, while the system on the other end tries to find the person the caller is interested talking to.
When the receiver at your end picks up the phone, he will hear a recording that says, "You have a call from Paul Adams, dial any key to accept this call." If he chooses to take the call he will dial a key, if not the caller will be sent to voicemail where they can leave you a message.
